Accessing Task manager

Accessing the Windows Task Manager to examine the processes running on your computer is easy.

Step 1: Hold down the 'Ctrl' and 'Alt' keys (at the same time) and press the 'Delete' key.

Step 2: You'll then be presented with a new Window. If you're using Windows XP, click the 'Task Manager' button or if you're using Windows Vista/Windows 7 click the 'Start Task Manager' text.

Step 3: The 'Task Manager' window should now be displayed. At the top of this Window you should see a few different tabs, such as 'Applications' and 'Processes'. Click the 'Processes' tab and should now see a list of processes that are currently running on your computer, along with their CPU and memory usage.
